This process helps to choose the best candidates for certain economic immigration programs based on the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS).The Comprehensive Ranking System is a points system used by the government to assess and rank applicants in the Express Entry pool.
Here are some ways to improve your Global Ranking System score for Express Entry:

The Comprehensive Ranking System score is calculated based on the candidate’s age, education, work experience, language skills, and other factors.
To be eligible for Express Entry , applicants must meet the criteria for at least one of the following immigration programs:

- The Federal Skilled Trades Program
Express Entry is a relatively simple process, and involves two main steps.

While, during the second major stage, the Canadian government invites the highest ranked candidates to apply for permanent residence in Canada.
Here is how to submit your Express Entry profile and obtain a permanent residence visa to immigrate to Canada:- Step Number 1, Check if you qualify for Express Entry.
- Step Number 2, Complete your language test and get a study credential assessment
- Step Number 3, Submit your profile on the website of Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada, which is the department responsible for immigration, settlement, resettlement and citizenship programs and services in Canada.
- Step Number 4, You will receive an Invitation to Apply for Permanent Residence from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada.
- Step Number 5, Submit your completed application for permanent residence to Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada and pay your fees within the specified time. You must include your medical examination and police certificates as part of this step.
- Step Number 6, Wait for Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada to process your permanent residence file. Your request will generally be processed within 6 months or less.

- your passport or travel document;
- the results of your language test;
- proof of Canadian education or your academic credential assessment report;
- justification of funds, and,
